Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms govern your use of SAVYA, available at consultancy.to (the “Platform”), a network that connects clients with independent legal, financial, tax and business professionals in India. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to these terms.
1. The Platform
The Platform lets clients discover professionals, book paid consultations, exchange messages and hold online sessions. Professionals are independent practitioners; they are not employees or agents of the Platform, and the advice they give is their own professional responsibility.
A “Verified” badge means our team reviewed credential documents the professional submitted. It is not a guarantee of the quality or outcome of any service.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, misuse the Platform or are used for fraud.
3. Bookings and payments
Consultation fees are set by each professional as an hourly rate and are charged in Indian Rupees through our payment partner Razorpay at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds.
The Platform retains a service fee (currently 5% of the consultation fee); the remainder is paid out to the professional. Professionals pay a one-time registration fee to start accepting bookings.
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Professional obligations
- Hold every licence and registration required for the services you offer, and keep submitted documents current.
- Attend confirmed sessions at the scheduled time or cancel in advance (which refunds the client in full).
- Keep client information confidential and comply with your professional code of conduct.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Platform to harass others, share unlawful content, impersonate anyone, circumvent payments for sessions arranged through the Platform, scrape data, or interfere with its security. Report misuse through the Help & Support page.
6. Liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the advice or services provided by professionals, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the place of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified on the Platform or by email; continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.
